Section 01

Eligibility & Youth Players

  Age Requirements. UHSPA serves high school athletic events. Users under the age of 18 ("Youth Players") must have the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian to participate or submit personal information.

  Parental Verification. Registration, spotlight form submissions, and roster data collection for minors require verified parent or legal guardian consent ("Parental Consent").

Youth Data Protection & COPPA / FERPA Compliance

We prioritize youth privacy, data security, and compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and relevant privacy regulations. See also our Privacy Policy.

  No Social Media Exposure for Minors. UHSPA strictly limits public exposure of minor players' personal contact details or social media handles (e.g., personal Instagram accounts).

  Information Collected. We collect only necessary athletic and administrative data (such as player name, high school, graduation year, dominant hand, height, paddle preferences, DUPR rating, and match results).

  Parental Rights. Parents or legal guardians retain the right at all times to review, request updates to, or demand the deletion of their child's personal information by contacting info@uhspa.org.

  Data Security. We take reasonable measures to protect youth player data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Section 03

Media Release & Content Usage

  Event Media. By participating in UHSPA-sanctioned meets, tournaments, or submitting official questionnaire responses with parental consent, players and parents grant UHSPA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display athletic profiles, match statistics, team photos, and spotlight responses for promotional, organizational, and social media purposes.

Section 04

Intellectual Property

  UHSPA branding, logos, graphics, and website content are the exclusive property of UHSPA. Unauthorized commercial use of UHSPA branding or published league content without written consent from UHSPA is prohibited.

Section 05

Limitation of Liability

  To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UHSPA, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or attendance at UHSPA-sanctioned events.
