  Parent & Guardian Information. Parent/guardian name, email address, phone number, and consent verifications required for player participation.

  Coach Information. Name, school/club affiliation, email address, and phone number.

  Public & Questionnaire Content. Player spotlight responses and tournament participation photos submitted with parental authorization.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

  Organize high school pickleball teams, leagues, tryouts, and tournament brackets.

  Access & Protection. We take reasonable measures to protect player and match data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

  No Selling of Personal Data. UHSPA does not sell, rent, or trade student-athlete or parent personal data to third parties or commercial marketers.

  Data Retention. We retain youth data only as long as necessary to maintain league history, athletic records, and legal compliance.

Parental Rights & COPPA/FERPA Compliance

In compliance with youth privacy standards and federal guidelines:

  Parental Consent. Minors under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent to register or be featured on the website.

  Review and Deletion. Parents and guardians have the right at any time to review their child's personal information stored by UHSPA, request corrections or updates to their child's athletic profile, and request the complete deletion of their child's personal information.
