Schools will participate in 6 Saturday "Meets," and a "State Championship" (They will be placed in either Division I or II depending on their rankings during the preceding 6 weeks of play). 

The Meets will be held from March 1 through April 12 on Saturdays. The State Championships are on Saturday April 19 and April 26, with Individual championships the following week on May 1, 2, and 3. We are thrilled to be able to compete in so many excellent indoor facilities in Utah. We have many phenomenal indoor court sponsors and are excited to use their facilities this season.

Format of Match Play for Meets

Each match will consist of a boys match, a girls match, and a mixed match, played simultaneously. Each of these 3 matches will consist of a 2 games out of 3 match, MLP rally scoring, games to 21, win by 2. Teams will switch sides at 11, and the winning team must win on its serve. For one school to beat another, it would need to win 2 out of the 3 matches.

Format of Match Play for State Championships

The Team State Championships will be single elimination tournaments. Each match will consist of a boys match, a girls match, and a mixed match. It will be MLP scoring, games to 25, win by 2. Teams will switch sides at 13, and the winning team must win on its serve. For a team to advance through the bracket, it would need to win 2 out of the 3 matches.

The Individual State Championships will also be single elimination tournaments. Boys, girls, mixed doubles and singles will be regular scoring, games to 11, win by 2, best 2 out of 3.
